For the Dough:
- 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon cornmeal (for dusting)
For the Toppings:
- ½ cup ranch dressing (plus more for drizzling)
- 1 ½ cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat Oven & Prep Dough:
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
- Lightly dust a baking sheet or pizza peel with cornmeal. Roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle and transfer it to the prepared surface.
Assemble the Pizza:
- Brush the rolled-out dough with olive oil.
- Spread ranch dressing evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the ranch base.
- Evenly distribute cooked chicken and crumbled bacon on top.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Bake the Pizza:
- Transfer the pizza to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
Finishing Touches:
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
- Drizzle with extra ranch dressing and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
Slice & Serve:
- Cut into slices and enjoy while warm!
Notes
- For extra crispiness, pre-bake the crust for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
- Swap out ranch dressing for buffalo sauce for a spicy twist!
- Use grilled or rotisserie chicken for added flavor.
